From Mithila's ponds
to your pantry shelf.
Siya Makhana began as one family's roasting
kiln in Darbhanga. Today, we still buy
directly from the same wetland-farming
cooperatives, pay above-market rates, and
roast every batch in small kilns rather than
industrial dryers.
Because we believe the best makhana should
retain not just its natural pop, but the
story and craftsmanship behind it.
